⚾️On August 22, 2007 the Texas Rangers annihilate the Baltimore Orioles 30-3 at Oriole Park at Camden Yards. It is the most runs scored by any MLB team in the modern era. Ironically, the Orioles led 3-0 after the first 3 innings. The Rangers set a club single-game record 29 hits in the first game of the twin bill. Texas also wins the nightcap, 9-7, to break the AL mark of 36 runs in a doubleheader established by the 1937 Tigers during an August 14th doubleheader against the St. Louis Browns. All
