Onboard with Jean Ragnotti in the Renault 5 Turbo European Cup – Monaco, 1981 Jean Ragnotti devoted his 1981 season to the Renault 5 Turbo European Cup. After retiring from the opening round at Hockenheim following an off-track excursion, he bounced back with a second place at Zolder and then won the highly publicised Monaco round, held as a support race to the Formula 1 Grand Prix. Ragnotti triumphed again on home soil at Dijon, but difficulties in the remaining events left “Jeannot” second in
