real 1969 marshall super lead plexi (100W) 🆚sv20h (20W) same guitar, same cab, same speakers, channels jumped, identical amp settings. in the room differences were immediate: the 1969 has noticeably more headroom, authority and low-end mass. bass response is fuller and better controlled, and the amp stays open and three-dimensional as the volume climbs, with a fast, firm attack and very little sag. organic. the studio vintage breaks earlier, compresses more and feels tighter and more focused. i
