50th anniversary of the Brisbane 1974 flood. On this day in 1974, the Brisbane River attained a peak height of 6.6m on the high tide. These edited snippets of home movie footage were taken by amateur filmmaker Bill Rahmann during the flood. The footage shows parts of the Brisbane CBD, including the old Festival Hall inundated with floodwaters.
