Jan 7, 2024 · The 1st iPad pro 12.9 had 4gb of ram but them both can't run iOS 17. The iPad 6 has 2gb of ram and does support iOS 17. The bizarre thing is that iOS 17 seem to be more optimized and run better than iOS 16 did on some devices. I can only hope the 10.5 air and pro will live on for a good bit longer with support from Apple, they are great devices.

13,248. Feb 27, 2023. #7. Another vote here for Air 5 (or a refurb M1 iPad Pro 11). The iPad 10 (A14/4GB) isn't that big of an upgrade from your Air 3 (A12/3GB) in terms of performance. Not sure how you feel about laminated vs non-laminated displays but that's a possible downgrade coming from Air 3 to iPad 10.

Jan 29, 2020 · Plus Air 3 with A12 appears to have better battery life than Pro 10.5 with A10X even when the latter was brand new. From comments I've read from those with both Air 3 and Pro 11, it appears Air 3's got longer battery life compared to Pro 11, as well. Typical US sale prices: iPad 7 32GB $229-249 Wi-Fi / $379 LTE.

Sep 16, 2020 · Decisions, decisions. Spend less (8th generation), get less (no air pods), but more memory (128 GB) or spend more (Air 3), get more (airpods), but less memory (64 GB). In the end, I think it is $50 cheaper for the 8th generation with the other bundled accessories my daughter wants (minus the airpods).
