Colorado College is a private liberal arts college in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Founded in 1874 by Thomas Nelson Haskell in his daughter's memory, the college offers over 40 majors and 30 minors, and enrolls approximately 2,000 undergraduates at its 90-acre (36 ha) campus.

With the long-time mascot “Prowler” graduating, we welcomed “RoCCY” to the family. Nearly 1,300 votes were cast in an online vote, and RoCCY narrowly defeated Roary. Not only did our new Tiger have a name change, but a new mascot costume was unveiled as well.

CC's Department of Athletics unveiled refreshed logos on Friday, Feb. 7, amid several events celebrating and showcasing the updated design. It's been 30 years since the current tiger shield logo was designed, and a lot has changed at CC in three decades.

The Colorado College Tigers are composed of 16 teams representing Colorado College in intercollegiate athletics, including men and women's basketball, cross country, lacrosse, soccer, swimming & diving, tennis, and track and field. Men's sports include ice hockey. Women's sports include volleyball.

Created in Stone Serif — the typeface that the college has used since the 1989 logo — the wordmark clearly and simply identifies the institution as “Colorado College.”
