My previous electric toilet would use much more water and the lines to the tank would always be "full" without using even more water. The 27' boat / electric system had a custom 35g holding tank to enable a 4 / 5day period between pumpouts.

Trying to diagnose an issue with my head, the pump won't stop pumping. I had it apart over the winter to replace the seal and it sorta worked for a little while but now it just keeps pumping. During re-assembly, i haven't been able to get the 2 clamp ring pieces flush together after tightening the hose clamp.

Boat is very well equipped with a fiberglass hard top, GPS, huge live well, VHF radio, trim tabs, large cabin with vacuflush head, full cockpit enclosure that appears to be in original package and never used.

I have experienced all these problems over the last few years, and the rule on my boat is only use the head for #1, and even then, use it sparingly. My wife says this is stupid and a head is there to be used. But I've spoken with a number of mechanics who have fixed my head who agree with me and avoid using the head as much as possible.
