how did they create the sign names for the apes? Ceasar's sign name is understandable as its the letter c signed by the forehead. I was wondering how did they come up with the other sign names and what's the explanation behind them, such as koba's, which is signed as an open hand close to the neck. I’m assuming his signing comes from his trauma.

Dec 29, 2017 · In foreign cinemas, there are subtitles for the sign language. I cannot speak for english-speaking countries, but at least in Portugal the movie's sign language was subbed. My source is that I watched the War for the Planet of the Apes in the cinema, almost 1 year ago.
