Matthew Gregory Elshoff, O.F.M. Cap. (born September 24, 1955) is an American Catholic prelate who served as an auxiliary bishop for the Archdiocese of Los Angeles since 2023. [1] He is a member of the Capuchin Franciscans.

Bishop Matthew is a clergyman of the Autocephalous Genuine Orthodox Church of Cyprus and has been a monk since the age of 18. He is highly regarded for his missionary and educational work in Kenya. At the dedication of our new bishop believers came to Cyprus from Greece, Australia, Canada, America, Romania, and Russia.

Fr. Matthew Remijio is a Sudan Relief Fund partner and Bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Wau in the western region of South Sudan. He was born and raised in Wau and attended secondary school in Khartoum, Sudan, joining the Comboni Missionaries in 1994.
