EDGE LaDamion Guyton announced his commitment to the Texas Tech Red Raiders Thursday. It's the second five-star for Joey McGuire and Co., after shocking everyone earlier this summer – landing five-star offensive tackle Felix Ojo.

Edge rusher LaDamion Guyton, a consensus five-star recruit and the No. 2 overall recruit in the Class of 2027 per 247Sports, announced his commitment to Tech Thursday afternoon. He chose the Red Raiders over 21 other programs, including Alabama, Georgia and LSU.

LaDamion Guyton, a 5-star edge-rusher from Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Georgia, committed to Texas Tech on Thursday, according to Hayes Fawcett of Rivals.
