Fire crews are responding to a 10-acre vegetation fire in the 16,000 block of Midway Road, west of the Carrizo Plain

Since its discovery three days ago, it has burned 65,062 acres, an increase of 15,301 acres since the last update. By Monday morning, the fire crew effectively contained 3% of this fire. The blaze's cause remains under investigation.
