One Direction have made a heartfelt gesture in memory of late former bandmate Liam Payne months after his untimely death. The former One Direction star died after falling from the third-floor balcony of the Casa Sur Hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on 16 October 2024.

In honor of Liam Payne, One Direction's documentary, which was helmed by the late Morgan Spurlock, will make a one-night comeback to UK Odeon theatres.

Liam Payne and Zayn Malik experienced a series of ups and downs over the years. Both musicians were t hrust into the spotlight alongside Harry Styles, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson while on The X Factor in 2010 to form One Direction. After releasing four albums as a group, Malik announced his departure from the boy band in March 2015.

Two months after Liam Payne died at his Argentina hotel, one of the five people charged in connection with his death has been arrested on suspicion of supplying cocaine to the One Direction alum.
