UNLV senior offensive lineman and former Ohio State Buckeye Ben Christman died three months ago from heart disease and an irregular heartbeat, the Clark County Coroner's Office announced Thursday.

Coroner reveals cause of death of former Ohio State, Revere High School lineman Ben Christman According to officials in Nevada, Christman's death was caused by cardiac arrythmia and cardiomyopathy.

The Clark County coroner’s office has released the cause of death for Ben Christman, a former Ohio State OL who transferred to Kentucky and UNLV.

Ben Christman played two seasons in Lexington after transferring from Ohio State, appearing mostly on special teams for the Wildcats. Christman earned a degree from UK.

According to Ben Christman's obituary, the former Ohio State, Kentucky, and UNLV lineman died peacefully in his sleep of unknown natural causes.
