Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated US President Donald Trump for taking oath for a second term in office, saying he looked forward to working together with the US leader again for the benefit of the two countries and shape a better future for the world.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky wrote on X, “I congratulate President Trump and the American people on the inauguration of the 47th President of the United States. Today is a day of change and also a day of hope for the resolution of many problems, including global challenges.”

Donald Trump became the 47th President of the United States on January 20. Prime Minister Modi congratulated him via X, emphasising the desire to work together for mutual benefits and a brighter future.
