The Major League Baseball draft has come and gone, and it saw two future Razorbacks get selected, one of whom came out of Fayetteville High School.

Moving the draft to All-Star week was supposed to give it some sizzle. But none of the picks -- not one -- was in attendance.

Lee’s Summit West alum and pitcher Nick Potter was the highest selection of the players drafted this year. He spent two seasons at Crowder Community College before going to Wichita State. He was selected in the fifth round of the MLB Draft by the Houston Astros.
