Chase Briscoe has a series-leading six pole positions in 2025, but the Joe Gibbs Racing driver has yet to convert any of those poles into a race win. At Iowa Speedway, he came fairly close, finishing second to William Byron and Hendrick Motorsports.

William Byron had strong runs at Michigan and Indianapolis turn sour due to fuel shortages in the past two months, but the Sunday race in Iowa was a real gas.

NEWTON, Iowa — Chase Briscoe earned his second consecutive pole Saturday at Iowa Speedway and his series-best sixth of the season. Briscoe has not started worse than second in the last four races. He's claimed four poles in the last 10 races. Sunday's race airs at 3:30 p.m. ET on USA Network (coverage begins at 3 p.m. ET).
