Several people, including two children, were injured in a crash involving a school bus Tuesday in Old Westbury, Long Island.

Authorities say the car lost control and crossed lanes, hitting the school bus coming in the opposite direction. Richford High School students were on the bus but no injuries were reported.

State police said troopers responded to the scene for a report of a motor vehicle crash involving a school bus with students and adult administrators onborad.

There were no reported injuries but Brouse Road in Clinton Township was shut down when it appeared that a school bus, with 26 students aboard, struck a utility pole, knocking down the pole as well as energized wires about 3:10 p.

A Plum school bus carrying students was involved in a crash Tuesday afternoon. The crash, at North Duane Drive and Golden Mile Highway (Route 286), was reported shortly after 3 p.m., an Allegheny County 911 dispatcher said.
