After deadly flooding tore through the state of Kentucky, Governor Andy Beshear is asking people to give the gift of a blood donation. The blood drive comes as officials say the commonwealth is in critical need of blood.

The latest deaths reported include a Caldwell County man, a Morgan County woman, an Ohio County man, a Pike County man and a woman from Warren County, Beshear announced in a social media post Friday night, though in a few cases the official cause of death was not yet known.

Death toll in Kentucky rises to 20 after severe weather
