President Donald Trump and British Prime Minister Keir Starmer will meet at the White House on Thursday for their first in-person visit since the Republican leader upended U.S. policy on Ukraine, the Middle East and global trade.

President Donald Trump said Wednesday that Ukrainian leader Volodymyr Zelenskyy will visit the White House on Friday to sign a long-sought minerals deal that will closely tie the two countries together for years to come.

President Trump will meet with British Prime Minister Keir Starmer at the White House as European nations work to have more say in any talks with Russia on the end to the war with Ukraine. CBS News' Ramy Inocencio reports.
