It’s September (this just in), and that means meteorological fall. It also means the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources is launching its fall color finder map to track the changing leaves over the coming weeks.

One of the best things about Fall is the fact that it's pretty. Artists like to "go paint/draw the fall colors". People take drives specifically to view the many fall colors that happen during the season, and it's something nice to see before they all fall to the ground, and we welcome winter returns.

While the DNR's map uses past data, a similar annual map from SmokyMountains.com shows predictions for fall colors across the country.
