The open house for the Deseret Peak Utah Temple of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints will begin in September in Tooele ahead of its dedication on Nov. 10.

Church officials announced that the Deseret Peak Utah Temple will have an open house September 26-October 19, 2024. Sundays and October 5, the open house will be closed in that window.

The following January, church officials announced the new and current location of the project, which was being renamed to the Deseret Peak Utah Temple, at 2400 N. 400 West in Tooele.

Monday marked the first day of the open house for the Deseret Peaks Utah Temple \u2014\u00a0the Church of Jesus Christ's 200th temple and the first such edifice in the Tooele Valley.

The Deseret Peak Temple will be the twenty-first temple in the state open to members of the Church. Reservations can be made for the open house on the Church’s website.
