The Atlanta Falcons added more offensive firepower over the weekend, officially signing wide receiver DJ Chark Jr. to their 90-man training camp roster on Saturday morning. Chark is expected to help fill in for Darnell Mooney, who will be out for a few weeks due to a shoulder injury.
Fans filled the sets of grandstands around the Lions’ practice fields, cheering on the likes of rookie running back Kye Robichaux after he trucked through a defender during a drill and chanted for linebacker Alex Anzalone, who was practicing for the first time during camp.

OK, so the first week of training camp was kind of a dud. Leaguewide, the first four practices were quick and pad-less, as mandated by NFL rules. The league’s medical advisers determined that a slower ramp-up to full contact in training camp will lead to fewer groin and hamstring pulls.
Buffalo Bills Star running back James Cook reported to training camp at St. John Fisher University amid contract negotiations with the team. Cook had a dominant 2024 season, where he put up 1,022 rushing yards and 16 touchdowns.
