Sha'Carri Richardson is finally addressing her domestic violence arrest last month following actions against her boyfriend that were caught on security footage. The Olympic gold medalist took to her Instagram Story and posted two videos and a statement.

Richardson posted a video on her Instagram account in which she said she put herself in a “compromised situation.”

Sha’Carri Richardson has issued a public apology to her boyfriend, Christian Coleman, following her arrest on a domestic violence charge. She was taken into custody on July 27 at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport.
