Pete Carroll returned to Seattle Thursday, nearly 15 years after making his Seahawks debut. And while Carroll stood on the opposite sideline, some things hadn't changed.

For the first time since the organization parted ways with him in January of 2024, Pete Carroll made his return to Lumen Field in Seattle Thursday night, this time as head coach of the Las Vegas Raiders. And naturally, Carroll, who coached the Seahawks for 14 seasons, picked up some forces of habit over the years.

Pete Carroll’s Seattle return ended without a winner when Jalan Gaines blocked Daniel Carlson’s 55-yard field-goal try for Las Vegas as time expired, leaving the Raiders and Seahawks tied at 23 on Thursday night.
