Nigel Farage has said a Reform UK government will carry out the “mass deportation” of illegal immigrants – despite previously saying it was “impossible”. He will unveil his party’s full plan to tackle rising immigration at a press conference on Tuesday.

Reform would bar anyone arriving in the UK by small boats from claiming asylum and require them to be held in detention centres.

Reform UK leader Nigel Farage has pledged five deportation flights a day under plans to move asylum seekers who arrive in small boats out of the UK. His proposals also include arresting asylum seekers on arrival; automatic detention; and forced deportation to countries such as Afghanistan and Eritrea.
