A person is dead after reports of a shooting near a fast-food establishment in the Largo Town Center area in Maryland Friday afternoon, 7News has learned.

A man is dead after a shooting Friday afternoon near a shopping center in Largo, Maryland. It happened just after 1 p.m. in the Largo Town Center located at Largo Center Drive near Landover Road. Prince George’s County Police said when officers arrived on scene, they found a man in the roadway with gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Police in Prince George’s County have identified the man who was fatally shot Thursday night and are still looking for a suspect and motive. The Prince George’s County Police Department (PGPD) said 26-year-old Jawaun Jackson of Washington,
