The addition of Chubb also means the Texans will face a roster crunch at the running back position soon. Chubb will be the fifth running back on a team that just spent a fourth-round pick on adding depth to the backfield, re-signed Dare Ogunbowale earlier in the offseason and signed Mixon to a three-year extension last year.

As Fowler noted, the Browns added a pair of running backs in the draft in Ohio State's Quinshon Judkins and Tennessee's Dylan Sampson. With the addition of those two, Chubb's return to Cleveland would mean a crowded backfield.

The Browns might be starting over at running back after selecting Quinshon Judkins in the second round of last month's draft. They also added Tennessee star Dylan Sampson as a backup to compete for first-team reps, thus making Chubb the No. 3 option.
