A driver has died after a crash near the Highway 50 and Interstate 80 junction in West Sacramento early Monday morning.

The Summit County Sheriff’s Office pursued a vehicle into the Salt Lake Valley, but safety concerns ultimately caused deputies to terminate the chase.
