The Texas Department of Public Safety is investigating a crash that left a Midland bicyclist dead last week. According to a crash report, around 7:39 p.m. on February 28, troopers responded to the area of FM 1936 and Blair to investigate a crash between a Suzuki Gran Vitara and a bicycle.

ECTOR COUNTY — A Midland bicyclist has died after a fatal collision. According to the Texas Department of Public Safety, Jessica Jo Gatlin, 42, was pronounced dead at the scene of a collision that occurred at about 7:39 p.m. Friday, Feb. 28, at Farm-to-Market Road 1936 and Blair Street.
