The Super Bowl trophy is currently named after former Packers coach Vince Lombradi, but Bill Belichick thinks a former player of his should get that honor.

On a podcast, Bill Belichick suggested the Super Bowl trophy should be named after seven-time champion Tom Brady, not Vince Lombardi:

When co-host Jim Gray pointed out that the Vince Lombardi Trophy, awarded to every Super Bowl-winning team, is named after a legendary coach and not a player, Belichick had a simple response. "Maybe they should name it the Brady Trophy. He won seven of them," he stated plainly.
