At least two people are dead, and a woman was seriously injured in an incident that ended with officers firing on an armed suspect, Lancaster police say.

VIRGINIA - UVA is under a shelter in place as police search for a potential armed suspect in the area. According to police, a suspect by the name of Nyheem Hill was last seen in the area of Alderman Road. It is being reported that Hill fled following an off-grounds traffic stop near Ivy Road and has a known criminal history and gang affiliation.

According to Bloomington Police, officers were called to the 700 block of Fairmont Drive around 4:45 p.m. on Tuesday, after several witnesses reported seeing someone armed with a weapon. Officers made contact with the armed suspect upon arrival. Police say as the situation progressed, officers began firing their weapons and shot the suspect.

TEWKSBURY — Police are seeking the public’s help to locate a suspect in the Feb. 20 armed robbery of a Main Street gas station.

Montgomery County police are investigating several armed robberies. Investigators say the suspect has been using a kitchen knife, hitting local gas stations.

Police say the suspect robbed the victim of his belongings and shot him. The victim sustained non-life-threatening wounds.
