Elon Musk has taken to social media for the first time since Donald Trump seemed to suggest the possibility of deporting him after he publicly criticised the Big Beautiful Bill once more

US President Donald Trump threatened to deport Elon Musk amid his ongoing feud with the Tesla CEO as the latter escalated his attack on 'big, beautiful bill'. Trump said he would look into deporting Elon saying the tech mogul would probably have to close up shop and head back home to South Africa.

This week, Trump has said Musk would have to "close up shop and head back home to South Africa" if he halted government subsidies to his companies, and then later added that his administration would "have to take a look" at deporting Musk.
