A New Hampshire shelter is asking for help after a man surrendered plastic tubs full of mice on Monday, with hundreds more at his home.

A man decided to surrender hundreds of pet mice, many of which were pregnant, from his New Hampshire home after he became overwhelmed by the sheer number of animals in his possession, officials said.

A man is surrendering hundreds of pet mice, possibly more than 1,000, from his home in New Hampshire after he became overwhelmed by the ever-growing number in his possession, an animal rescue said Thursday.
