After twice coming agonizingly close, Marner finally topped 100 points in the Leafs' penultimate game of the season.

Toronto Maple Leafs forward Mitch Marner reached the 100-point mark for the first time in his career, after scoring in the third period against the Buffalo Sabres on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, on Tuesday, just two days before the NHL regular season ends, the league announced each team’s nominee for the King Clancy Memorial Trophy. The award is given annually “to the player who best exemplifies leadership qualities on and off the ice and has made a noteworthy humanitarian contribution in his community.”
