Ball missed the first leg of this back-to-back Sunday against the Pistons, but it's not a surprise to see him back in the lineup for Monday. There's no word of any restrictions, as well. Over his last three appearances, Ball has averaged 18.7 points, 6.0 assists, 3.0 rebounds and 1.3 steals on 38.5 percent shooting from the field.

The NBA released its "Last Two Minute Report," where it admitted an officiating mistake. The report stated that the officials missed a foul call on Spurs' De'Aaron Fox that would have sent Ball to the free-throw line, which could have extended the Hornets lead, who were winning 114-112 at the time with 1:28 minutes left in the fourth quarter.

LaMelo Ball left the eventual loss to the Brooklyn Nets on Monday night after 10 minutes with "right ankle soreness." He had no designation prior to the game after missing Sunday's loss against the Detroit Pistons,
