Unilever, the parent company of Ben and Jerry’s, infringed upon the ice cream maker’s “social mission” by preventing it from speaking out in favor of Palestine, according to a lawsuit.

The famous Vermont ice cream brand, Ben and Jerry's, has filed another lawsuit against its parent company, Unilever. According to documents filed in a New York Federal court, the ice cream maker said Unilever has censored its social justice efforts and silenced attempts to support Palestinian Refugees.

Ben & Jerry’s has sued its parent company Unilever accusing it of silencing the ice cream maker from making statements in support of Palestinians in the war in Gaza.
