The New York Rangers have not given up on Matt Rempe just yet. Rempe was suspended for eight games due to a hit he delivered on Miro Heiskanen. He’s served five out of the eight games. Once his suspension is over, the Rangers very well may keep Rempe on the active roster instead of sending him down to the American Hockey League.
