With the Detroit Lions' 2025 season getting further into the rearview mirror, it's time to evaluate the season that was with final position grades.

The Detroit Lions' 2024 season is now in the books. It did not end the way that everyone hoped it would. The Lions Super Bowl aspirations fell short again.  The Lions now head to the offseason looking to get healthy and looking to build a team that can go out and get themselves back to the playoffs again in 2025.

The Lions had seven players make the initial roster for the Pro Bowl — quarterback Jared Goff, running back Jahmyr Gibbs, wide receiver Amon-Ra St. Brown, center Frank Ragnow, Sewell, safety Brian Branch and punter Jack Fox — and had 11 players named as alternates.
