GREAT FALLS — The River Drive South section of the River’s Edge Trail may be getting an upgrade soon thanks to the River’s Edge Trail Foundation and the Montana Department of Transportation. GREAT FALLS, Mont. – A structure fire late Wednesday night sent one person to the hospital in Great Falls. The Great Falls Fire Rescue responded to the fire at 4811 2nd Ave. N at 11:30 p.m. on January 29, 2025. A 78-year-old man appears to have died from hypothermia after taking shelter from bad weather in a non-running farm truck, Montana deputies said. Lynn Taskila, of Great Falls, was missing for about a month when his body was found Jan. 23 on a farm north of Rudyard, the Hill County Sheriff’s Office said in a Facebook post.
