Tigers-Blue Jays game postponed due to rain
LAKELAND, Fla. -- The Detroit Tigers' exhibition game against the Toronto Blue Jays scheduled for Monday afternoon has been postponed due to persistent rain in central Florida. The game will not be rescheduled. It’s believed to be the Tigers' first spring rainout since 2016.
Even though the exhibition game between the Tigers and Blue Jays was canceled due to the steady rains that fell on central Florida on Monday, it was still a full work day for the Tigers players.
The Detroit Tigers were still able to get in all of their work on Monday thanks to the new roofs that keep the players from getting wet.

According to Sportsnet's Ben Nicholson-Smith, Kevin Gausman is slated to throw a 30- to 35-pitch live batting practice session before getting into spring games. On Friday, Blue Jays manager John Schneider told reporters that Gausman will likely slide into Lucas's spot in the spring rotation when he is ready.
