Connecticut’s Paid Family and Medical Leave program has paid out a billion dollars in benefits in the three years since its launch. That’s a major milestone, officials said.

Target is weighing a new paid membership program for its customers similar to Amazon and Walmart, Bloomberg News reported Wednesday, citing people familiar with the matter.

The program at the College of the Desert is expected to offer students paid internships, at a rate of 21 dollars an hour.
