A cold dip in the jet stream (we call it an upper-level trough) slides down out of British Columbia and lingers west of the Pacific Northwest coastline Saturday through next Wednesday. This will send wave after wave of showers onshore all 5 days.

NASHVILLE, Tenn. (WZTV) — Showers are still on track to move in starting early Thursday morning. Rain will continue off and on throughout the day and into very early Friday morning. There will be some pockets of moderate to heavy rainfall. 1-2" of rain is possible. The highest amounts will be in our far northwestern areas.
