A van is still stuck out on Shawano Lake after falling through the ice Tuesday morning, authorities said. The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office said its dispatch center received a call regarding a vehicle that had gone through the ice on Shawano Lake at around 6:30 a.

The driver went to Shawano Lake to deliver food to someone who was ice fishing, the sheriff's office said. The driver was taken to a local hospital to be evaluated. Once released, the driver was arrested on an unrelated matter and was taken to the Shawano County Jail.

The Shawano County Sheriff’s Office issued a warning to anyone venturing onto the ice after a van fell through Shawano Lake on Tuesday morning.
