The Wolverines picked up a pair of commitments in the 2026 class, their first since Feb. 28. Newbury Park (Calif.) four-star quarterback Brady Smigiel was the first to announce his decision, and Washington D.C. St John’s three-star edge Tariq Boney followed shortly after.

After a successful weekend on the recruiting trail that saw the Michigan football team pick up two commitments, the Wolverines are hoping to keep that momentum rolling. Another target that they are hoping to eventually land is four-star EDGE Trenton Henderson.
