A U.K. version of the beloved sketch comedy show, which celebrated its 50th anniversary earlier this year, will officially premiere on Sky Max and its streaming service NOW in 2026, Sky and NBC announced on Thursday.

It took 50 years, but "Saturday Night Live" is ready to invade the United Kingdom with "SNL UK" premiering in 2026 on Sky Max and NOW. Sky, which is owned by NBC parent company Comcast, announced the British iteration of the late night sketch comedy show on Thursday.

“SNL” airs live at 11:30 p.m. Eastern time from a studio at Rockefeller Plaza and typically opens with a sketch that wraps as the actors turn to the camera, break character and announce, “Live from New York, it’s Saturday night!”
