Arizona Diamondbacks right-handed pitcher Justin Martínez will undergo Tommy John surgery and miss the remainder of the 2025 season, according to the club’s manager Torey Lovullo.

Right-hander Justin Martinez will undergo Tommy John surgery, Diamondbacks manager Torey Lovullo said Friday, June 13, on his weekly radio appearance with Arizona Sports 98.7 (KMVP). Martinez will miss the remainder of the season and a large chunk — if not all — of next year, as well.
