Boston College (3-1, 1-0 ACC) took advantage of four Michigan State (3-1, 1-0 Big Ten) turnovers, including an interception in the end zone by Aidan Chiles with 36 seconds to play, to hold on for a 23-19 win on Saturday night at Alumni Stadium.

Boston College suffered their first loss of the season and of Bill O’Brien’s head coaching tenure last week, falling to a very good Mizzou squad 27-21. I went 1-1 on the week, as the Eagles covered the 16.

In its first season under head coach Jonathan Smith, the Michigan State Spartans are only one win shy of matching their total from all of last season, while the Boston College Eagles waited all of two games into the Bill O’Brien era to earn a spot in the AP Top 25.
