Earlier this week we got a new teaser for Alien: Earth, an upcoming FX series set in the expansive sci-fi universe. It shows a nasty Xenomorph escaping containment inside a ship crashing into Earth. Scary stuff. But also, this show will (seemingly) deliver on a promise a single Alien 3 teaser made over three decades ago.

Alien: Earth is the all-new original series expanding the Alien mythos - and it just got a new teaser. The brief clip is set on a spaceship hurtling towards Earth. We follow what appears to be a Xenomorph as it travels through clanging metallic corridors, the same sort found as far back as 1979's first Alien movie.

On January 27, FX and Disney (yeah, remember they own the Alien franchise now after buying Fox) released a new teaser for this summer’s Alien: Earth series. In the teaser, we watch a Xenomorph creature break out of containment while on board a ship that appears to be crashing on, wait!...oh no...EARTH! Here’s the teaser:

The teaser (which you can see above) follows a xenomorph racing through a human spacecraft, with emergency lights flickering red, and an automated voice repeating "Containment Breach". The footage puts viewers in the alien's shoes until it slams into a window, breaking the spell and showing the creatures' imminent arrival to Earth.
