Google, OpenAI, Spotify, Amazon Web Services and OpenAI were all down on Thursday after a wide-spread tech outage. Tens of thousands of users reported issues on Downdector.com, a website that tracks outages. A large number of sites appear to be impacted, with reports ticking up in the tens of thousands around 2 p.m EST.
Google Cloud services were down and are affecting other sites, according to Replit and Cloudflare.
Alphabet's Google said on Thursday it had resolved a brief global service disruption on its platforms that affected multiple services such as music streamer Spotify and instant messaging provider Discord.
