No. 24 Michigan State (21-8, 11-7) earned a No. 6 seed and first-round bye in the Big Ten Tournament. The Spartans will play the winner between No. 11 seed Iowa and No. 14 seed Wisconsin in a second-round game on Thursday (approximately 9 p.m., BTN) at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis.

And the standouts lead the Spartan players recognized on the All-Big Ten squads that were released on Tuesday afternoon. Ayrault and VanSlooten each were named second team All-Big Ten by the coaches and media.

If there’s to be a third game, on a neutral court in the 2025 Big Ten women’s basketball tournament at Gainbridge Fieldhouse in Indianapolis, it won’t come until the final on March 9, as U-M and MSU wound up on opposite sides of the bracket finalized Sunday evening.
